You have an event, an opening or an offer to announce, and you need something printed big. The first question is not the design. It is where the print will stand and for how long. That decides which type of banner you need.
Roll-up banner: for indoors and for moving around
A roll-up banner is a printed sheet that pulls up out of a metal base and hooks onto a pole. It stands by itself, packs into a carry bag and sets up in one minute.
The standard size is 85 × 200 cm, about the width of a door and a little taller than a person. Smaller table-top stands are also available.
Choose a roll-up for receptions, exhibitions, school events, shop entrances and anywhere you will use the same message more than once. It is not made for wind, so keep it indoors or in a sheltered spot.
Flex banner: for outdoors and large sizes
A flex banner is printed on strong PVC material and can be made in almost any size. It is fixed with eyelets and rope or cable ties, or stretched on a frame. It handles sun and weather, which is why shop fronts, building sites and outdoor events use it.
Choose flex when the print must be large, must stay outside, or will be used once for a single event.
Backdrop: for stages and photos
A backdrop is a wide banner on an adjustable stand, placed behind a stage, a speaker or a photo area. A common size is 3 × 3 metres. If people will take photos in front of it, repeat the logo across the whole surface so it shows in every picture.
Posters, canvas and stickers
- Posters on paper are the low-cost choice for indoor notices and offers.
- Canvas prints give photos and artwork a framed, gallery look for offices and gifts.
- Vinyl stickers go on glass, walls, vehicles and products.

How to prepare the artwork
- Design at the real size or to scale, for example 85 × 200 cm for a roll-up.
- Keep the bottom clear. On a roll-up, the lowest 10 to 15 cm sits inside the base. Do not put text or the logo there.
- Put the main message at eye level. The top third of a roll-up is what people read first.
- Use large, sharp images. A photo from WhatsApp or a website will look blurred at two metres. Send the original file.
- Send a PDF with fonts converted to outlines, and the logo as a vector file if you have it.
- Few words, big letters. A banner is read in three seconds from a distance.
If you do not have a designer, send us the logo, the text and any photos, and we will prepare the layout for your approval.
